Hi there homeschooling parents!
I know this time last year there were probably not that very many of us who imagined being a homeschooling, work-from-home parent… and then… suddenly, here we are.
As we each try to organize ourselves and stay on top of housework and homework, I would like to share one of the simple learning tools I use to help my toddlers learn to identify their alphabets. This downloadable ABC chart is a great tool when teaching your little ones the alphabet and its sounds.
If you can get it laminated it also makes a great place-mat; my kids have enjoyed hours of fun and education with their learning place-mats over the years. It made meals times much calmer because the little ones enjoyed discussing the pictures, shapes, colors, letters and numbers together as I served meals and got everything together for the family.
This ABC chart is bright and colorful, and it has loads of familiar images that will excite your little one as they learn with you. Understanding how to pass on skills and information to toddlers can sometime be a challenge, the key is to make learning upbeat and exciting, breaking down the information and using familiar sentences, scenes, images, toys, people and examples – I have talked a little bit more on how to teach your toddlers ABCs on my blog before so if you missed it take a look at that quick post for tips; and download this neat little chart below!

If you and your toddler enjoyed this ABC chart/place-mat please contact me for the numbers version shown above (which I will upload shortly anyway, so be sure to subscribe to my blog to be one of the first to know when it is ready for download!)
Happy homeschooling everyone!
